This is our 2003 Christmas picture. We're lucky to all live close enough that we are able to get together on a
regular basis. We gather once a month at alternating houses. It's a great chance for the cousins to play together,
and for the grandparents to see all the grandkids at the same time.
We're now half way through 2004, so here's an update on what the family is doing, starting with the grandkids.
Emily, the oldest at 11 is an honor roll student, bright, friendly, and a lot of fun to be around.
Julia, the next oldest at 6, will start first grade in August. She's already reading at about a 4th grade level,
and art is her favorite subject.
Eric is 5 and will start kindergarden in August. He plays on a recreational soccer team, and is very interested
in cars and trucks.
The youngest, Aidan just turned 3. He will go to pre- school in august, so his thing right now is to be "potty
trained" by the end of the summer. He's doing well so far.
As for our kids - Chris still loves his job as an architect, and in his spare time, still enjoys ballooning. Patty
is still teaching and directing pre-school at the kid's school. In her spare time (hah) she goes to school. Stephanie
writes occasional articles for a couple of papers, enjoy's going to the gym, and is basically a "soccer Mom", with no soccer
involved. Charlie continues to work at the lab, and is a great dad, spending most of his spare time being a family man.
Olin came up with an exceptionally brilliant idea a couple of months ago and we have been vigilantly exploring it ever
since. We are producing anti-war playing cards. They are at the printer's right now and we hope to have them in
hand and ready to sell in about 2 - 3 weeks. While waiting for the printer to do their thing, we are trying to set up
a web site: olna.biz, where we will promote and hopefully sell the cards.
